International AdmissionsInternational mindedness is at the heart of Villiers. In 2019/2020, our student body included students from 34 countries.
Villiers School is now considering applications for students of all nationalities for the following year(s) of entry:
- Full academic school year 2020-2021 (limited places available)
- Full academic school year 2021-2022
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) 2020-2022 (limited places available)
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) 2021-2023
In order to encourage language immersion and cultural integration among our students, Villiers School limits the number of school places made available to students from each language group.
Villiers School prioritise full academic year applications. In some cases, applications for one semester may be considered.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. The Headmistress’ decision on individual applications is final.
Successful applicants will receive written confirmation of a school place. A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your place. Balance of tuition and boarding fees for international students is typically due in full for the academic year prior to commencement of tuition. For Non-EU international students, full prepayment of fees is a student visa requirement.
Please contact our Admissions & Communications Manager, Mrs. Susan Peña, by email email@example.com for information on school fees for non-EU international students.
Please review the Villiers School Guardianship Policy. For overseas parents/guardians with no prior connection to Ireland, and with no local guardian in place, a professional guardian agency is essential to assist with the general well-being of the student. All of our international students are required to have an Irish resident educational guardian while studying in Villiers. In effect, guardians act in loco parentis.
Please contact our Admissions & Communications Manager, Mrs. Susan Peña, by email firstname.lastname@example.org to recommend a local educational guardianship agency.
Prospective students from within the EU will need to apply for the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) prior to them coming to Ireland. This insurance will allow the holder to access health care services when travelling to another EU or EEA country. Further information can be found here.
Medical insurance for Non-EU international students is a student visa requirement.
