IBDP Online Information Evening
Wednesday 12th of October 7.30pmIn Villiers School, we offer senior cycle students the choice between the traditional Leaving Certificate Programme, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), both of which are two-year programmes of study.
A good starting point to making this choice is to consider the IB Learner Profile. These ten attributes reflect the holistic nature of an IB education and demonstrate the balance expected between dispositions, knowledge, and skills in IB students. The IB DP offers an exciting opportunity for highly motivated students to engage in a stimulating and demanding learning environment and as such it needs to be the right fit. For the right student, the IB DP will open doors, as well as opening the minds of those who opt for the challenge. IB DP offers students the opportunity to take part in an education that crosses disciplinary, cultural, national, and geographical boundaries.
We currently have 27 students studying for the IB Diploma at Villiers School and the programme has a 100% graduation rate, with students taking up university places both nationally and internationally.
We are holding an Online IBDP Information Evening on Wednesday 12th of October at 7.30 pm. This event will be held via Zoom and will include the opportunity to ask questions. If you are interested in learning more about the IB Diploma Programme at Villiers School, please register using this link:
