World Down Syndrome Day at Villiers School
21st of March 2022
On World Down Syndrome Day, our school community rocked our socks and raised funds for Down Syndrome Limerick. We also had an ice-cream truck visit the school at lunchtime!
Special Thanks to Ronan and his Mum Noreen for sharing his story with our school community, to raise awareness and knowledge. Thanks also to Pippa, Ms. Dowling and Mr. Peña for their fundraising efforts!
Down Syndrome Limerick endeavour to support families and individuals with Down Syndrome throughout their life, through a range of Social, Education and Development activities. Recognition of the importance of early intervention and of developing communication ability, with due regard to the individuality of the person, guides everything we do.
