Applications to Form I (Day)

Day student applicants for Form I must apply for a place at Villiers School in conjunction with the Limerick Area Post-Primary Schools’ Common Application System.

For day student admission, the Limerick Area Post-Primary Schools Common Application System for 2024-2025 has closed.

Common Application System Key Dates

Monday, 15th January 2024 (4.00pm)Closing date & time for the receipt of applications forms.
Tuesday, 30th January 2024Post-primary schools will post offers of places.
Wednesday 31st January 2024Post-primary schools will post letters of refusal to offer a place.
Wednesday, 7th February 2024 (12.00pm)Date by which offers are to be accepted/refused.

Applications to Form I (Boarding)

Applications to Form I for boarding students are welcomed online here: https://villiersschool.openapply.com/roi

We are now considering applications for admission to Form I in the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years (current 5th and 6th class students).

Local School Transfers

Expressions of interest for local school transfers are welcomed online here: https://villiersschool.openapply.com/roi

Applicants should be advised of an initial deadline of February 2nd 2024. Any applications received in full before this deadline will be considered in the context of school places currently available. In the event that there are no school places available, applicants may be waitlisted. 

The final deadline for applications is June 2nd 2024 for consideration for the next academic year (i.e. the school year due to begin in the following August / September). Those waitlisted in February may also be considered at this time.

Final decisions in relation to admission will issue by June 15th 2024.

Please note, a waiting list may be in place for some programmes and/or years of study.

Early and Late Applications

Early and late applications for boarding places, family relocations, and international enrolments, will be considered in the context of school places available.

Early applications are not considered for school transfers, late applications for school transfers will be considered in the context of school places available.

Please note, a waiting list may be in place for some programmes and/or years of study.

It is not possible to consider early or late applications for day places in Form I. Form I applicants for day places in Villiers School must apply in accordance with the Common Application System key dates (above).

Grant Information

The Secondary Education Committee (SEC) offers assistance by way of grants to parents of the Protestant community, who wish to send their children to a secondary school of their own faith tradition within the Republic of Ireland. More information is available here
