SAMPLE WEEKLY MENU

Breakfast
Breakfast consists of a choice of the following. The aim being that students are set up for the day, with some of the key nutritional requirements:

Variety of cereals
Fresh fruit selection
Forest fruit berries
Yogurt
Toast
Apple and Orange juice
Tea/Coffee/Milk

Lunch

Lunch consists of a main course, including a vegetarian option, soup and a salad bar.

Main Courses include:
Arrabbiata Baked Chicken*
Beef Stroganoff with rice
Roast Loin of Pork, Apple Sauce & Gravy*
Chicken, Tomato & Basil Pasta
Grilled Cajun Spiced Chicken*

*Served with potatoes and a choice of vegetables

Salad Bar:
We offer an extensive salad bar comprising of the following:
Cold Meats
Compound Salads
Tossed Salads
Beetroot
Tuna
Cold Meats
Egg
Cheese
Choice of Breads

Tea
Tea, which is served at 5.30, includes the following main courses, salad bar and vegetarian options:

Penne Pasta Bolognese
Breaded Cod with Chips and Vegetables
Burger with Potatoes and Cheese
Chicken, Gammon & Leek Crumble with Rice

As with all other meals, a wide selection of fresh fruit is available

Supper
Supper consists of a variety of crackers, breads, cheeses, cup-a-soup, hot chocolate and fruit.
Vegetarian Courses:
Vegetable Samosa
Mushroom Stroganoff with rice
Cheese & Tomato Croissant
Cottage Cheese & Vegetable Lasagne
Chunky Vegetable & Chick Pea Chilli

Desserts:
There is always a selection of fresh fruits for students to choose from, or they may have traditional desserts, such Bakewell Tart, Bread & Butter Pudding, Banoffi Pie, Jelly & Ice-cream, profiteroles, etc

The Dining Hall is a hive of activity at both lunch and dinner time, with students nutritional and social needs being well catered for. Catering firm, Sodexo, is responsible for all meals and their team of experienced caterers ensure that the nutritional needs of all students are met. Specific dietary requirements of individual students are equally catered for. Pupils are offered a choice at each meal and an extensive salad bar is always provided at both lunch and tea-time.

SCHOOL CAFE

In addition to the catering facilities provide by Sodexo, Villiers also has two very popular and busy Cafes; one for the juniors and one for the seniors.
The junior Cafe is located in the Dining Room and the Senior Café in the 'Old Block'. There are a wide variety of items available for sale at break-time, lunchtime and afterschool.
These include Fair Trade™ Tea & Coffee, hot chocolate, soup, water, soft drinks, smoothies, fruit, yogurt, wraps, sandwiches and home-made confectioneries.
