INFRASTRUCTURAL WORKS - VILLIERS
Work continues on making life easier in and around the school campus. Our fantastic new changing room block has been completed and provides up to date facilities in the form of four changing rooms, showers, toilet and storage facilities.
This was a much needed asset to the school and is now being widely used by our students and visiting teams.
Our driveway has been recently resurfaced, widened and is aesthetically more pleasing by way of installation of a perimeter fence.
A section of our perimeter wall alongside the side gate has been recessed to facilitate the storage of our wheelie bins for collection. This will at last take all bins from in and around the front gate and allow our neighbours ease of access along the footpaths around the school campus.
Our side gate has also been widened, eco friendly lighting installed along the driveway and extensively landscaped by dressing the existing trees and thinning out the undergrowth.
Our school vegetable patch alongside our astro-turf pitch has been extended with extra topsoil and is being looked after by our TY environment class.
Replanting and reseeding of the slope of the astro-pitch has taken place and refurbishment of the gate lodge is currently under way.
Green schools work continues and installation of a bicycle rack is pending, while we also are planning for our energy flag.
All in all the above work continues to improve the quality of our campus and its environment.

Villiers School is located on the North Circular Road on the outskirts of Limerick city. The school has modern classrooms with all the latest equipment and technologies, a new state of the art Science and Technology Block, specialist rooms and excellent sporting facilities.
